Don't worry! We're not going to leave you in the dark! Even though we cannot answer your questions by telephone, we have so many resources available on this website to help answer all of your questions. Please read on to learn about how our website can help you.

Firstly, all of our products have instructions printed on the label or instructions that are automatically included with each order. These instructions as well as the product label directions will tell you exactly how to take your herbs, including dosage, how long to take it, and even how to adjust doses for children and pets.

If you don't know what herbs to take or what products to order, we have many resources to help you determine what herbs you need. Off our website, there is an Herbal Resource Guide where you can learn more about herbs, their uses and how to take them. A FREE listing of essential oils that help specific issues can be found on the Essential Oils and Specific Health Issues page

If you find a product that seems to fit your needs, make sure you read all of the accessory information listed below it such as "More Information and Research" or "Learn more" which take you to entire articles with very specific details which most likely already answers the questions you had.

And if you still have more questions: we have collected and posted 10 years' worth of the most commonly asked questions that people have about herbs and natural healing (such as "How long will it take for this to work?"). We've included the questions along with Dr. Foster's answers on the Frequently Asked Questions page. Feel free to browse this page for answers to your questions.

Our FREE Herbal Recommendations section is now ready! This is a questionnaire that allows you to type in your age, gender, symptoms, diagnoses, medications, supplements, and even your lab tests to get specific herbal and lifestyle recommendations. It gives recommendations for everyone, including infants and children (parents type in the answers), adults and the elderly. It also gives a list of products that should NOT be taken, so that everyone knows which products they should NOT take in addition to the products that are OK for them to take.

Also, make sure you check the Discussion Board (now up and running). It can be accessed from any page by clicking on the "Ask Dr. Foster" button on the left hand side of the page. Dr. Foster will answer as many as she can as long as you don't use the "cure" word. See why.

Additionally, please consult the Health Newsletter which covers additional topics, as well as the newsletter archive referenced on the Newsletter page. We encourage you to join our mailing list to receive our free email newsletter so that you can learn even more about natural healing.

You can also use the Search box at the top left corner of each page to search for pages with particular words in them such as "high blood pressure."

Important Note: There is not a single person in the world, licensed, doctor or otherwise, who is legally allowed to say that natural substances can "cure" anything. By law, a "cure" can only exist if it is synthetic and patented. Natural substances such as foods, herbs, essential oils, air, water and exercise are not legally allowed to be "cures" for anything, regardless of what scientists, medical doctors or Nobel prize winners have to say about it. That's how much health freedom we have in America. According to the law, medical doctors are allowed to claim that their synthetic drugs cure diseases and conditions, but never that anything natural could. It is against the law for people to be cured with herbs or any natural remedy! (We like to use the word "heal" instead.) Therefore, please do not ask us questions about whether herbs can cure your disease or how long it will take for you to be cured from ......condition. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us stay in compliance with the law so that we can continue to provide herbal products. If anyone doesn't like the law (we don't), we encourage people to write their Congressperson and allow their voice to be heard.

We are aware that people do follow other natural healers' programs. We are also aware of other herbal books out there. We can only speak about the safety and effectiveness of the herbal products sold through this website and do not endorse any other herbal products. The quality of commercially available herbs is at an all time low and most herbs on the market simply do not work. Read more about product quality

Because of this problem, Dr. Foster's Essentials exists. Among the many herbal companies in the U.S., people can always rely on the quality of our herbs. Our herbal quality is our number one priority and always will be.

Please do not ask us to comment on the quality of other brands. There are thousands of herbal companies selling herbs and thousands of "natural" products available in the U.S. and it is impossible to keep track of all of them. Due to the rampant poor herbal quality available in stores, Dr. Foster cannot be held responsible for the lack of effectiveness of herbs and herbal formulas purchased from places other than from www.DrFostersEssentials.com.
